With this graphic for Car Loan 4u we wanted to visualise the large increases in efficiency of the petrol engine from the Ford Model T to the electric vehicles of today. We compared MPG with the changing costs of oil and each car was positioned in reference to it’s MPG . The final section of the graphic outlined the available Electric Vehicles and the relevant costs and time related to charging. We chose to pick the mid range Ford models so as to keep the data consistent.
